  • Update the version number in pom.xml
  • Update the texts about version number in README.md
  • Update the version number in module-info.java
  • Update the version number in package-info.java
  • Update copyright years in source file headers if the files are updated.
  • Update copyright years in README.md if needed.
  • Update copyright years for Javadoc in pom.xml if needed.
  • Updates the chapter 'Supporting JDK versions' in README.md if needed.
  • Add a @since tag to package-info.java of new package. (1.0.0 and later)
  • Add a @since tag to javadoc comments of new classes. (1.0.0 and later)
