No, it isn't abandoned. The repository is active again: GitHub shows recent commits on July 11, 2026, and releases v0.22.0 and v0.22.1 on July 10 and 11. The repo is also not archived or disabled. There was a quieter period before that, so your concern was reasonable. I can't promise a fixed release cadence, but the recent activity means the project is still being maintained.

I appreciate you coming back and pushing a release but it is not unreasonable to assume this project is mostly abandoned given that we have only one person who has been able to create releases and there is no reasonable update-cadence either. With the rapidly changing state of vulnerabilities it is unsafe to use software that sometimes does not create releases for several months despite the code changes being merged to master.
