Main two repositories Renovatebot is used for is https://github.com/gemini-hlsw/lucuma-apps and https://github.com/gemini-hlsw/lucuma-ts. The latter of which is running into kernel-out-of-memory issues

This might be related to #40942 (which we're hoping to have fixed in the Dev Platform today or tomorrow), so I won't upgrade resources until we've validated that change - hopefully won't be needed :)

Hi @jamietanna unfortunately I'm running into the kernel-out-of-memory again. Unsure if something has changed in renovate resources, or the original bug has appeared again. A job id with a OOM is 68149929-e55e-4d3b-be44-ff116a991128

@jamietanna sorry to ping you again, but the issue still persists unfortunately. We haven't been able to use Renovatebot for a little over a week now. If there's better communication channels for issues like these I'd happily convert

What if you increase it higher than 1536?

I've increased it to 2048 now. Out of 3 runs 1 of them still gave a kernel-out-of-memory error

@jamietanna We are still running into OOM errors. If I reduce the nodeMaxMemory to 1536 the PR update fails with OOM. If I increase it to 1792 renovate consistently fails with kernel-out-of-memory. This is really getting very frustrating as Renovate is practically useless at this point

I've kicked off https://developer.mend.io/github/gemini-hlsw/lucuma-ts/-/job/4e424127-9a21-41a7-801f-bf942207f5cc and see it now passing (4.4GB (of 6.0GB limit))
