Embed images directly as base64 string

Hi,

we're feeding md files to a chatbot and need the images directly (base64) in the md file. Is this possible and also if an exported space can be merged into one md file?

You want the exporter to merge everything into a single .md file? Given the current implementation around pages I think this is going to be difficult to implement. I don't think that is a feature that we can support.

This could be added as a config option one can enable. Happy to take a PR on this.
