Add econ-paper-review-skill and econ-slides-skill: referee reports and Beamer talks for economics research #1388

Description

@hanlulong

Two Agent Skills for economics research, both working in Claude Code (and Codex), from the author of econ-writing-skill (submitted earlier as #554):

econ-paper-review-skill — reviews a manuscript like a journal referee: reconstructs the argument, verifies what it can check (identification, tables, proofs, numbers, references), and outputs a typeset referee report with detailed comments and a prioritized revision plan written for agents to implement. Real use case: pre-submission review before a paper goes to a journal; a bundled sample review of a demonstration manuscript is in the repo.

econ-slides-skill — turns an economics paper into a professional LaTeX/Beamer talk (conference, seminar, job-market, or discussant format) with an optional timed speaker script synchronized to slide builds. Every deck is compiled, geometry-checked, and visually inspected before delivery; a sample deck built cold from a demonstration paper is in the repo.

Both are documented with install instructions, examples, and samples, and are tested on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Happy to adapt formatting to however you prefer to list them.
